Description

This Zesty Greek Salad captures the essence of Mediterranean cuisine, featuring a bright combination of fresh vegetables, tangy feta, and a zesty dressing that creates a refreshing dish perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

4 units Large Vine Tomatoes
1 unit English Cucumber
1/2 medium Red Onio
1/2 cup Kalamata Olives
7 oz Greek Feta Cheese
1/4 cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil
2 tbsp Red Wine Vinegar
1 tsp Dried Oregano
Sea Salt & Black Pepper to taste
1 unit Green Bell Pepper


Instructions

  1. Wash all your produce thoroughly. Cut the tomatoes into large, irregular wedges and slice the cucumber into thick half-moons
  2. Thinly slice the red onion and the green bell pepper. Soak the onion slices in cold water for five minutes, then dry them
  3. Place the tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, peppers, and Kalamata olives in a large bowl. Toss gently to distribute colors evenly
  4. In a small jar, whisk together the olive oil, red wine vinegar, oregano, salt, and pepper to create the dressing
  5. Place the feta on top of the salad and pour the dressing over all the ingredients. Toss just before serving
