Ingredients
1.5 lbs White Fish (Cod, Mahi-Mahi, or Tilapia)
1 tbsp Chili Powder
1 tbsp Cumi
1 tbsp Smoked Paprika
1 tbsp Garlic Powder
3 cups cooked Cilantro Lime Rice or Quinoa
2 cups Shredded Purple Cabbage and Carrots
2 whole Avocados
Fresh Lime Wedges to taste
Chopped Cilantro to taste
Jalapeños or Chipotle Crema (optional garnish)
Instructions
- In a small bowl, combine the chili powder, cumin, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and a pinch of cayenne
- Generously coat both sides of the fish with the spice mixture
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat with a tablespoon of avocado oil and cook the fish for 3-4 minutes per side until opaque
- Toss the shredded cabbage and carrots with lime juice, honey, and fresh cilantro
- Cook the cilantro lime rice or quinoa until warm
- Start each bowl with a scoop of the base, add the spiced fish, a handful of the slaw, and several slices of avocado
- Garnish with chipotle crema, extra cilantro, and lime juice
