Ingredients
2 pounds Fresh Green Beans
6–8 slices Baco
1 medium Onio
4 cloves Garlic
2 cups Chicken Broth
1 tablespoon Apple Cider Vinegar
1 teaspoon Smoked Paprika
1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper

- Add the chopped onion to the skillet and cook until softened, about 5 minutes. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant
- Transfer the cooked onion, garlic, and bacon to your slow cooker
- Add the trimmed green beans to the crockpot
- Pour in the low-sodium chicken broth and apple cider vinegar. Sprinkle with smoked paprika, black pepper, and half of the salt. Stir well
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours until the green beans are tender
- Taste and adjust seasoning before serving. Enjoy!
Notes
You can use frozen green beans instead of fresh for convenience.
Add additional vegetables for a heartier side dish.
For a vegetarian version, omit the bacon and use vegetable broth.
