3–4 Garlic Cloves
3 tbsp Unsalted Butter
3 tbsp All-Purpose Flour
2 cups Low Sodium Chicken Broth
1 cup Whole Milk
4 oz Cream Cheese
1 tbsp Low Sodium Soy Sauce
½ tsp Black Pepper
Kosher Salt to taste
6 oz Crispy Fried Onions
Instructions
- Prepare Green Beans: Blanch trimmed fresh green beans in boiling salted water for 3-4 minutes, then plunge into an ice bath. Drain and set aside
- Sauté Aromatics: In a skillet, melt butter, then add diced onion and sauté until translucent. Add garlic and mushrooms, cooking until browned
- Make the Roux: Sprinkle flour over the vegetables and stir for 1-2 minutes to remove raw flour taste
