3 pounds Chicken Wings, split wings and drumettes
1/2 cup Low-Sodium Soy Sauce
1/4 cup Raw Honey
1/4 cup Toasted Sesame Oil
2 tablespoons Rice Vinegar
4 cloves Fresh Garlic, minced
1 tablespoon Fresh Ginger, grated
Sesame Seeds, for garnish
Green Onions, for garnish


Instructions

  1. Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the soy sauce, honey, toasted sesame oil, rice vinegar, minced garlic, and grated ginger
  3. Place the wings into the slow cooker and pour the prepared sauce over them, tossing to coat
  4. Set the slow cooker to 'Low' for 4 to 5 hours or 'High' for 2 to 3 hours until the wings are tender
  5. For a thicker glaze, whisk a tablespoon of cornstarch with water, stir into the pot, and cook on high for an additional 15 minutes
  6. Transfer to a platter and garnish with toasted sesame seeds and chopped green onions

Notes

For a crispy finish, broil the cooked wings for 3 to 5 minutes after slow cooking.
