Description

Ingredients

4 to 4.5 cups Bread Flour
1.25 cups Whole Milk
6 tablespoons Unsalted Butter
3 tablespoons Honey or Sugar
2.25 teaspoons Active Dry Yeast
1 unit Large Egg
1.5 teaspoons Fine Sea Salt
1 tablespoon Fresh Rosemary, minced
1 tablespoon Fresh Thyme, minced
1 teaspoon Fresh Sage, minced


Instructions

  1. Warm the milk to 105°F to 115°F. Stir in the honey and yeast, let it sit until foamy
  2. Combine the yeast mixture, melted butter, egg, sea salt, and minced herbs in a stand mixer
  3. Gradually add the bread flour, knead with a dough hook for 7-8 minutes until smooth
  4. Let the dough rise in a greased bowl covered for 60-90 minutes until doubled
  5. Divide and shape the dough into 12-15 rolls and place in a grease baking pa
  6. Let the rolls rise for 45 minutes until puffy
  7. Preheat oven to 375°F, brush the tops with an egg wash, and bake for 18-22 minutes
