Description
Ghostly Halloween Yogurt is a fun, festive, and protein-packed Halloween snack made with Greek yogurt shaped into spooky little ghosts. Quick to freeze, easy to decorate, and perfect for kids and adults alike.
Ingredients
Greek yogurt (2%–5%) – 2 cups, plain or vanilla
Maple syrup or honey – 1–2 tbsp, optional
Vanilla extract – 1 tsp, optional
Chocolate chips or candy eyes – for eyes and mouths
Mini chocolate cookies – optional crumble for serving
Fresh fruit (bananas, strawberries, berries) – for garnish
Parchment paper and piping bag or spoon – for shaping
Instructions
1. Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Stir Greek yogurt with optional maple syrup and vanilla until smooth.
3. Spoon or pipe small mounds of yogurt onto the parchment, pulling the tip upward to create ghost peaks.
4. Press chocolate chips or candy eyes into each mound to form eyes and mouths.
5. Freeze until firm, about 45–90 minutes depending on thickness.
6. Serve over cookie crumbs, with fruit, or enjoy straight from the tray.
Notes
For best ghost shapes, use thick Greek yogurt (2%–5%).
Chill yogurt before piping for firmer peaks.
Dry candy eyes before pressing into yogurt so they stick better.
Store frozen ghosts in an airtight container up to 1 month.
Thaw 3–5 minutes before eating for creamy centers.
