- Place sliced cucumber, lemon rounds, and bruised mint at the bottom of a pitcher. If using ginger, peel and slice into thin matchsticks before adding
- Pour two quarts of chilled, filtered water over the ingredients, ensuring all produce is submerged
- Refrigerate for at least two to four hours. For the best flavor, steep overnight
- Serve in a glass filled with ice and garnish with a fresh sprig of mint or additional lemon wedge
