Ingredients
2 lbs Fresh Green Beans (trimmed and snapped)
1 (10.5 oz) can Cream of Mushroom Soup (low sodium or homemade)
1/2 cup Milk (whole or 2%)
1/2 cup Sour Cream (full-fat or light)
1 tsp Garlic Powder
1 tsp Onion Powder
1/2 tsp Black Pepper
1/2 tsp Salt (or to taste)
1 (6 oz) can Crispy Fried Onions (for topping)
Instructions
- Wash and trim fresh green beans
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together cream of mushroom soup, milk, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt until smooth
- Add green beans to the sauce mixture and toss gently
- Lightly grease the inside of your slow cooker
- Pour the green bean mixture into the slow cooker and spread it evenly
- Cover and cook on LOW for 3-4 hours or on HIGH for 2-3 hours until tender-crisp
- Sprinkle crispy fried onions on top 20-30 minutes before serving, then replace the lid and continue cooking until crispy
- Serve hot
