Ingredients

2 lbs Fresh Green Beans (trimmed and snapped)
1 (10.5 oz) can Cream of Mushroom Soup (low sodium or homemade)
1/2 cup Milk (whole or 2%)
1/2 cup Sour Cream (full-fat or light)
1 tsp Garlic Powder
1 tsp Onion Powder
1/2 tsp Black Pepper
1/2 tsp Salt (or to taste)
1 (6 oz) can Crispy Fried Onions (for topping)


Instructions

  1. Wash and trim fresh green beans
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together cream of mushroom soup, milk, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt until smooth
  3. Add green beans to the sauce mixture and toss gently
  4. Lightly grease the inside of your slow cooker
  5. Pour the green bean mixture into the slow cooker and spread it evenly
  6. Cover and cook on LOW for 3-4 hours or on HIGH for 2-3 hours until tender-crisp
  7. Sprinkle crispy fried onions on top 20-30 minutes before serving, then replace the lid and continue cooking until crispy
  8. Serve hot
