Description

This Cinnamon Brioche Loaf delivers a bakery-style experience right in your home with a soft, moist texture and a sweet cinnamon ribbon.


Ingredients

3 1/4 cups All-Purpose Flour
1 packet Active Dry Yeast
1 cup Whole Milk
4 tablespoons Unsalted Butter
1/3 cup Granulated Sugar
3 large Eggs
1 tablespoon Ground Cinnamo
1 teaspoon Sea Salt


Instructions

  1. Activate the yeast by warming milk to 110°F, stir in sugar and yeast, let sit until foamy
  2. Mix all ingredients in a bowl or stand mixer, gradually add flour until a soft dough forms
  3. Incorporate softened butter one tablespoon at a time until fully integrated
  4. Cover and let dough rise in a warm place until doubled in size, about 60 to 90 minutes
  5. Punch down the dough, roll out into a rectangle, and sprinkle cinnamon and sugar mixture
  6. Roll tightly into a log and place into a greased loaf pa
  7. Let dough rise again for 30 to 45 minutes
  8. Bake in preheated oven at 350°F for 30 to 35 minutes until golden brown and internal temperature is 190°F
  9. Cool for 10 minutes in the pan, then transfer to a wire rack

Notes

Dough can be made ahead and refrigerated overnight for better flavor.

Substitute half of the all-purpose flour with white whole wheat flour for added fiber.

Use coconut sugar for a natural sweetener option.
